Pump Control Node (PCN)

Purpose: The PCN is used on Encore series dispensers to control fueling operations. It performs all totals calculations, processes handle switch information and pulser input. The PCN interfaces directly with the STP control board (power supply) and valve driver board. It also connects to the door node via the LON.

Functions/Features: This device contains operating software and stores the pump side configuration. When used in MOC mode this node receives POS data from the CRIND communications board (Omnia or DCM2.x). When used in Generic mode this node receives POS data directly from the POS. Components connected to this node include: the power supply, door node, pulsers, and the valve converter PCA.
